在高級工程設(shè)計(jì)領(lǐng)域,創(chuàng)新驅(qū)動的變革正在重塑我們解決問題的方式。這一轉(zhuǎn)變強(qiáng)調(diào)了將創(chuàng)造力與科學(xué)精確性和技術(shù)進(jìn)步相結(jié)合的設(shè)計(jì)戰(zhàn)略的重要性。為了適應(yīng)這一變革,寧波諾丁漢大學(xué)將主辦第3屆國際先進(jìn)工程設(shè)計(jì)案例研討會(CSIAED 2024)。該研討會于2024年11月22日至24日在寧波諾丁漢大學(xué)校園舉行,旨在促進(jìn)國際前沿研究交流,推動學(xué)術(shù)界、工業(yè)界和政府之間的合作,并探討如何在工程實(shí)踐中整合新材料、結(jié)構(gòu)創(chuàng)新和智能系統(tǒng)。

In the field of Advanced Engineering Design,innovative changes are reshaping our problem-solving approaches.This shift emphasizes the strategic integration of creativity with scientific precision and technological progress in design.To adapt to this transformation,the University of Nottingham Ningbo China(UNNC)will host the 3rd International Symposium on Case Studies in Advanced Engineering Design(CSIAED 2024).The symposium will take place at UNNC campus from November 22 to 24,2024,aiming to promote international exchange of cutting-edge research,foster collaboration among academia,industry,and government,and explore the integration of new materials,structural innovations,and intelligent systems into engineering practice.
UNNC demonstrates its commitment to excellence in research and development and its dedication to nurturing a global community of engineering design scholars and practitioners.The symposium is expected to make a significant impact on the field by showcasing state-of-the-art research,encouraging the adoption of innovative design methodologies,and stimulating interdisciplinary collaborations.Additionally,the symposium aligns with market demands for sustainable,efficient,and intelligent engineering solutions,leveraging UNNC’s strengths.

CSIAED 2024會務(wù)組將僅考慮提交至此郵箱的摘要,并將在15個(gè)工作日對所投摘要給予評審意見。優(yōu)秀摘要將被會務(wù)組邀請參與大會分論壇報(bào)告。會議結(jié)束后,會務(wù)組將邀請報(bào)告專家提交論文全文,并推送至期刊專刊。
提交的文件應(yīng)為PDF格式。完整的摘要不得超過1頁A4紙,應(yīng)包含關(guān)鍵工程問題、工程設(shè)計(jì)方案、方案實(shí)施結(jié)果與總結(jié)和展望。完整的論文長度不得超過6頁A4紙。所提交的論文必須遵循IET的兩欄模板(MS Word、Latex)并且頁數(shù)限制為6頁。PDF格式應(yīng)為帶有子集字體的版本1.4(Acrobat 5)。使用的字體應(yīng)為Times、Times Roman、Times New Roman或Symbol。文本大小應(yīng)為10pt,一級標(biāo)題大小為12pt,二級標(biāo)題大小為11pt,大標(biāo)題大小為18pt。大標(biāo)題中的每個(gè)單詞首字母應(yīng)大寫并左對齊。文本應(yīng)安排為兩欄對齊,每欄8.8厘米寬,中間間隔0.4厘米。
提交的摘要和論文須呈現(xiàn)原始且未發(fā)表的工程設(shè)計(jì)案例,并且當(dāng)前沒有提交給其他任何會議或期刊進(jìn)行審查。不遵循這些指南的論文可能會被拒稿。此外,逾期提交、超出長度限制或結(jié)構(gòu)不合理的論文也可能不會被考慮。作者可聯(lián)系會務(wù)組以獲取更多信息或說明。

The organizing committee of CSIAED 2024 will only consider abstracts submitted to this email address and provide feedback within 15 working days.Outstanding abstracts will be invited to present at the conference's sub-forums.After the conference,presenters will be invited to submit full papers for publication in special issue of international journals.Submissions should be in PDF format.Full abstracts should not exceed 1 A4 page and should contain key engineering issues,design methodologies,implementation results,and summary and outlook.The length of the full paper should not exceed 6 A4 pages.Submitted papers must follow the IET two-column template(MS Word,Latex)and have a page limit of 6.The PDF format should be version 1.4(Acrobat 5)with a subset of fonts.The fonts used should be Times,Times Roman,Times New Roman,or Symbol.Text size should be 10 pt,with main headings at 12 pt,secondary headings at 11 pt,and paper titles at 18 pt.The first letter of each word in paper titles should be capitalised and left-justified.The text should be arranged in two aligned columns,each 8.8cm wide and spaced 0.4cm apart.
Submitted abstracts and papers must present original and unpublished engineering design cases and not currently submitted for review to any other conference or journal.Papers that do not follow these guidelines may be rejected.Additionally,papers that are submitted late,exceed the length limit,or are poorly structured may not be considered.Authors could contact the conference committee for further information or clarification.
