「新生｜運河精神」揚州三灣公園建筑設計國際競賽自2023年2月1日發(fā)布正式公告，至3月22日報名截止，組委會官網(wǎng)共收到了200次以上注冊報名。最終提交概念提案及報名文件的參賽團隊共計54個，其中：聯(lián)合體報名團隊數(shù)量為8個；獨立法人報名團隊數(shù)量為31個；個人報名團隊數(shù)量為15個。據(jù)統(tǒng)計，參賽團隊主要以獨立法人報名為主，來自中國、美國、澳大利亞等多個國家。

From the official announcement of 「RENASCENCE｜CANAL SPIRIT」Yangzhou Sanwan Park International Architecture Design Competition on February 1, 2023 to the registration deadline on March 22, more than 200 registrations were received on the organizing committee's website. A total of 54 teams submitted concept proposals and registration documents, of which: 8 teams from consortiums; 31 teams from independent legal entities; and 15 teams from individuals. According to statistics, the participating teams were mainly independent legal entities and came from China, the United States, Australia and other countries.

2023年3月29日，「新生｜運河精神」揚州三灣公園建筑設計國際競賽預審會在揚州三灣投資發(fā)展有限公司召開，經(jīng)過長達6個小時的仔細審閱、討論及慎重評選，13個參賽團隊脫穎而出，入圍第二輪正式方案編制階段。

On March 29, 2023, the pre-screening meeting of the「RENASCENCE｜CANAL SPIRIT」Yangzhou Sanwan Park International Architecture Design Competition was held at Yangzhou Sanwan Investment and Development Co. After six hours of careful review, discussion, and deliberate selection, 13 participating teams were selected and shortlisted for the second round of formal proposal preparation stage.

本次競賽的預審評委組由5位建筑領域的專家及政府代表組成，分別是馬巖松先生、華黎先生、馬衛(wèi)東先生、高亦蓉女士和季文彬先生。

The pre-judging panel of the competition consisted of five experts in the field of architecture and government representatives, namely Mr. Ma Yansong, Mr. Hua Li, Mr. Ma Weidong, Ms. Gao Yirong and Mr. Ji Wenbin.

在預審流程正式開始前，預審評委組的5位評委對本次競賽的項目背景、競賽目標、設計內(nèi)容及競賽規(guī)則等競賽相關情況進行了全面的了解，并對揚州三灣公園進行了實地考察。

Before the formal start of the prequalification process, the five judges of the prequalification panel had a comprehensive understanding of the competition related to the project background, competition objectives, design content and competition rules, and made a site visit to Yangzhou Sanwan Park.

預審過程中，評委們遵循預審評審規(guī)則，充分審閱所有報名材料，并進行多輪審慎投票和打分；概念提案的評審采用暗標形式，在公證處的全程監(jiān)督下，唱票員、統(tǒng)分員對評委的投票和評分結(jié)果進行如實記錄和仔細統(tǒng)計。

During the pre-qualification review, the judges followed the pre-qualification review rules, fully reviewed all application materials, and conducted several rounds of voting and scoring prudently; blind bid was adopted in the review of conceptual proposals, and under the on-site supervision, the tellers and scorers truthfully checked the judges' voting and scoring results.

揚州作為歷史文化名城，如何既發(fā)揚傳統(tǒng)文化又能創(chuàng)造新的建筑形式，這不僅是揚州的挑戰(zhàn)，也是中國現(xiàn)階段一個很大的挑戰(zhàn)，目前全中國處于對這個問題的探索過程?！感律故谴筮\河文化中很重要的部分，并且主辦方提出將來的三灣要重點考慮市民的日常精神生活、體育生活等方面的需要。新建筑的創(chuàng)新肯定與今天中國人的審美息息相關，其精神性與人是分不開的，所以這個建筑也是討論中國的新建筑發(fā)展方向以及中國人如何看待自己生活與文化的一個話題。

As a historical and cultural city, how to promote traditional culture and create new architectural forms at the same time is not only a challenge for Yangzhou, but also a great challenge for China at this stage, and the whole country is currently in the process of exploring this issue. 「RENASCENCE」 is a very important part of the Grand Canal culture. The organizers propose that the future Sanwan should focus on the needs of citizens' daily spiritual life and sports life. The innovation of new architecture is certainly closely related to the aesthetics of Chinese people today, and its spirituality is inseparable from people, so this building is also a topic for discussing the direction of new architecture development in China and how Chinese people view their own life and culture.

Small monolithic buildings, although insignificant in a large complex, can still have a large impact on the future architectural development of the city. Because of the attractiveness of Yangzhou, a variety of design teams participated in the competition, whether they were individuals, young studios or large compounds, and the high level of enthusiasm of the designers was evident.

這次參賽團隊經(jīng)驗很豐富，最終評選標準在方案概念呈現(xiàn)及后續(xù)深化形態(tài)下求取平衡。基地周邊有張錦秋院士、安藤忠雄老師等知名建筑師的作品，因此后續(xù)深化的時候需要將此作為重要參考條件。目前基地中每個建筑個性都十分強烈，策劃團隊給出「新生」這樣一個很好的設計方向，如何理解新生這個關鍵詞在古老的歷史悠久的大運河中給出新的表現(xiàn)形式，是后續(xù)發(fā)展的重要思考。

The team was very experienced, and the final selection criteria were based on a balance between the conceptual presentation of the proposal and the subsequent deepening of the form. There are works of famous architects such as academician Zhang Jinqiu and Mr. Tadao Ando in the vicinity of the base, so this should be taken as an important reference in the subsequent deepening. At present, each building in the base has a strong personality, and the planning team has given a very good design direction of「RENASCENCE」. How to understand the key word RENASCENCE to give a new expression in the ancient and historical Grand Canal is an important consideration for the subsequent development.

這次競賽場地條件文化底蘊十分深厚，并且多名建筑大師在此留下經(jīng)典作品，為了將此次競賽所設計的建筑更好的融入場地，前期策劃團隊做出了很多努力。小建筑融入影響力巨大的建筑群中，是對設計的全面挑戰(zhàn)。下一步深化設計希望能將運河現(xiàn)狀尺度、建筑尺度等作出更具體精確的要求，更有利于建筑的落地。

Small monolithic buildings, although insignificant in a large complex, can still have a large impact on the future architectural development of the city. Because of the attractiveness of Yangzhou, the design teams participating in this competition are of various types, whether they are individuals, young studios or compounds, and the designers' high level of commitment and enthusiasm can be seen. In the next phase of the formal program, we hope to update the conditions that the organizing committee needs to avoid into the design conditions, to make positive guidance to the finalist programs, and to make specific requirements on the depth of input of the finalist teams for the final landing quality.

這是一次成功的設計競賽，各團隊對揚州的文化了解十分清晰，通過概念設計很好的表達出了設計意圖，表現(xiàn)出了高水準的設計思路，但是仍有許多地方需要打磨。主要問題是對于此次方案具有相似度的其他項目進行深入研究，盡可能的減少相似度，打造世界文化遺產(chǎn)文化圈的獨特性。揚州新區(qū)與老城區(qū)有所不同，所以建筑要在擁有文化底蘊的同時創(chuàng)造出新的事物，設計不能將文化表達得太具象，最重要的不能超尺度。

This is a successful design competition, the teams have a very clear understanding of the culture of Yangzhou and have expressed their design intentions well through the conceptual design, showing a high level of design thinking, but there are still many areas that need to be polished. The main issue is to conduct an in-depth study of other projects with similarity to this proposal, to reduce the similarity as much as possible and to create the uniqueness of the World Heritage Cultural Circle. The new district of Yangzhou is different from the old town, so the architecture has to create something new while having cultural heritage. The design should not express the culture too figuratively and most importantly, not super scale.

The first phase of the「RENASCENCE｜CANAL SPIRIT」Yangzhou Sanwan Park International Architecture Design Competition has officially ended and the second phase will be opened soon. The site visit will be held in Yangzhou on April 11, 2023, and all shortlisted teams are invited to attend the site visit.

現(xiàn)場踏勘會的具體內(nèi)容及入圍團隊后續(xù)競賽工作安排將通過郵件進行通知，請注意查收。

競賽最終電子成果提交截止時間為2023年6月6日。6月7日需要各團隊提供紙質(zhì)成果，并通過抽簽確定匯報順序。6月8日將舉行競賽最終成果評審會與頒獎典禮。

The deadline for submission of the final electronic results is June 6, 2023, and teams will be required to provide paper results on June 7, and the order of presentation will be determined by lottery.
